Lionel Messi has angered supporters of his former club Barcelona after liking Lautaro Martinez’s post on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Following Barcelona’s tumultuous 3-3 draw with Inter Milan, Xavi’s team are close to being knocked out of the Champions League. <\/p>\n

Martinez, who plays with Messi for Argentina, was among the scorers for Inter. <\/p>\n

Lionel Messi has been criticised by Barcelona supporters for liking Lautaro Martinez’s post<\/p>\n

On Instagram Martinez wrote: ‘Heart , Personality , Humility’ and ‘#ForzaInter’.<\/p>\n

Barcelona fans clearly weren’t happy that Messi liked the post.<\/p>\n

One Barcelona fan stated that the fact that Messi is ‘a shameless traitor’.<\/p>\n

They wrote: ‘Another proof that Messi does not feel sorry for Barcelona a club who made him who he is today and then later he broke the club and ran away , he is such a shameless traitor’.<\/p>\n

Another fan described Messi as a ‘mercenary’.<\/p>\n

Messi and Martinez play together for Argentina but Barca fans were still annoyed at his actions<\/p>\n

They wrote: ‘This is what I mean when I say this guy was a mercenary’.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, another supporter suggested that Messi should never rejoin Barcelona amid suggestions of a possible return to the Nou Camp.<\/p>\n

They wrote: ‘Fraud. Don’t welcome him back’.<\/p>\n

Another fan simply described Messi as a ‘traitor’, while another called him ‘Judas’.<\/p>\n

One supporter suggested that Messi shouldn’t be allowed to return to Barcelona<\/p>\n

One message directed towards Messi read: ‘The hormonal dwarf hates us, it was seen coming’.<\/p>\n

Messi spent the vast majority of his career at Barcelona, scoring a remarkable 672 goals in 778 appearances.
