Barcelona lost the day before yesterday to Athletic Bilbao in a tough four and exited the Spanish King’s Cup in the quarter-finals at San Mames Stadium.
Everyone in Barcelona is angry with Xavi Hernandez running the team this season because of the poor tactics and plan he uses.
The team bid farewell to the cup tournament a few days after losing the Super Cup to its traditional rival, Real Madrid, also by four, which made officials in Barcelona lose their minds.
According to what was revealed by the Catalan newspaper “Sport”, Xavi is asking the impossible from Barcelona, as he wants to strengthen the team’s ranks with strong elements as quickly as possible in January.
This angered Barcelona president Laporta, as he knew that the team was going through financial difficulties, so he told Xavi, “You have strong elements that can make a difference, but you do not know how to use them well.”
Xavi also asked at least to sign a center player with tremendous physical strength and told Laporta to sign Everton star Amadou Onana, but the English team does not intend to sell the player during the winter transfers and will wait until next summer.
Also, Laporta cannot fulfill Xavi’s desire to sign the player currently due to the same reason we mentioned previously.
